Cherubim are angels sent by God to protect the holy mountain and to guard the way to the tree of life. The Cherubim Gate of Mount Zion signifies that God personally watches over His holy mountain. It also signifies that the Lord Jesus, whose blood was shed for the world, has reopened the way to the tree of life. Therefore, by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus, all mankind can come back before God and enjoy the blessings of Eden on Zion.
