Disciples Persuaded Paul Not to Go to Jerusalem

Paul and his companions left Miletus, sailing past Cos and Rhodes and then to Patara. They changed ship to sail over to Phoenicia and continued to Syria after passing southern Cyprus. They landed at Tyre, where the ship was to unload its cargo. They stayed with the Christians at Tyre for seven days. The disciples were moved by the Holy Spirit to tell Paul not to go to Jerusalem.

After seven days, Paul and company sailed off again to Ptolemais, and stayed with the believers for a day (Acts 21:17).
