Agabus Prophesies About Paul's Chain

On the next day, Paul and his companions came to Caesarea, and stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist. A certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. He took Paul䏭 belt, bound his own hands and feet with it, and prophesied that Paul would be bound in Jerusalem and be delivered into the hands of the Gentiles. When the disciples heard this, they pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, 乪hy are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. When he would not be persuaded, they ceased and said, 嚹he will of the Lord be done.

Paul stayed with them for a few days and with the company of some disciples from Caesarea he went up to Jerusalem (Acts 21:816).
