Concerning the signs of the Lord䏭 coming, the Bible says: There will be famines, pestilences, and great earthquakes in various places. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. The fig tree䏭 branch becomes tender and puts forth leaves. (This signifies the restoration of Israel and, in a deeper spiritual meaning, it refers to the rebuilding of the New Testament Church by the Holy Spirit, the true kingdom of Israel. It also means the restoration of the truth, testimony, and faith of the pristine church.) Pentecostal grace will be widespread (the Holy Spirit will be poured out on all believers who are then built into a spiritual house). False prophets (false preachers who oppose the precious blood, the truth, or the Holy Spirit) will come out to deceive many. Many believers will fall away from the faith. The love of many will grow cold. The rebellion will come first, and there will be false teachers who will secretly introduce destructive heresies (distorted truth), even denying the Lord who bought them. Some will give heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. Scoffers will come and say, 乪here is the promise of His coming? Lawlessness will abound. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Believers who really love the Lord will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death. They will be hated by all nations. But the gospel will be preached in the whole world, and then the end will come. There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. The earth will shake and the heavens will tremble. People will be eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, planting and building (See Matt. 24: 714, 32-33; Luke 17:2628; Luke 21:11, 2331; Acts 2:1721; 1 Tim. 4:14, 2 Tim 3:15; 2 Thess. 2:3, 2 Pet. 2:1, 3:3.) As these things continue to happen, we know that the Lord䏭 coming is near. Behold, the Lord of judgment is at the door! One more step and He will come in!

Woe to the rich who store up wealth only for this life! 鑥ow listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. You have hoarded wealth in the last day Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the LORD䏭 wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin (James 5:13; Ezek. 7:19 NIV).

Woe to the nominal Christians and those who mock the salvation but care only for pleasures. 𤧶or when they say, 婱eace and safety! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape (1 Thess. 5:3).

The Lord Jesus exhorted His disciples: 輶ut take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:3436). O believers! 𦯷nd do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts (Rom. 13:1114). How can we live aimlessly like the foolish people of the world, or join them to lead a dissipated life? If we miss the opportunity to be caught up and are left behind in the great tribulation, we耱l be weeping and gnashing our teeth in regret!

After the Church is raptured, there will be an unprecedented and dreadful great tribulation on earth. No men can endure such great tribulation. At that time, the false Christ will reveal his power and kill all those who call upon the name of the Lord. 𦚵et no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin (false Christ) is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God (2 Thess. 2: 34). 嚹hen he (false Christ) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week. He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined,Is poured out on the desolate (Dan. 9:27). As the Church remains in the air, the false Christ will carry out reckless and lawless destruction. Those who acknowledge Christ will be persecuted and killed.
